We would like to thank Maren Bramsen, who curated the exhibition in collaboration with 44Møen; Nguyen Vo for meditation and NADA; a special thank you to Gustav, Asbjørn and Sif for the Phở soup kitchens; Danh Vo’s team in Berlin; and, not least, our heartfelt thanks to Danh Vo for his generous presence and for a beautiful, moving and elegant exhibition.

Throughout the summer, PS44 presented Vections by Hannibal Dahl, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2025. The exhibition was curated by Julia Rodrigues. The choice of Hannibal Dahl is about giving a young artist the time and space to allow a practice to grow. His interest in transit spaces, displacement and movement connects beautifully with the season’s explorations of migration – as a shared concern with what happens when people, bodies and identities are in motion. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hannibal Dahl and Julia Rodrigues. Many thanks also to Charley Mortensen for her moving performance in connection with the opening of Vections.

44Møen would like to thank the following foundations for their support of this year’s exhibition at PS44: Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond and Augustinus Fonden.

During the season, we were visited by musician Jonas Torstensen, who created a truly special and wild experience at 44Møen with a performance using cassette tapes. Thank you to our programme coordinator Luigi Di Bitonto for curating the afternoon. And a big thank you to Charley Mortensen for yet another powerful performance – and for carrying forward her performance from the opening of Vections with Hannibal Dahl.

A big thank you to Angelina Nonaj and Indigo Meara for their performance and reading at 44Møen, and to Luigi Di Bitonto for bringing the evening together and for creating a publication featuring texts by the participating artists.

We ended the season with a spectacular performance concert by Jan Baltoffer. Many thanks to Janus Nevel Ringsted, Christoffer Møller and Balz Isler.

Søren Aagaard served a sublime meal consisting of a miso soup and a collaborative onigiri made by Kanae from Refshaleøengården, using Møn-grown Ingrid pea miso and roasted pumpkin. The dish was accompanied by an audio excerpt from Aagaard’s performance work Café Zero.

Thank you Jason Dodge for curating our residency programme and to Eugene Ostachevsky for coming as part of the programme. We look forward to further collaboration in the new season.

Now we migrate onwards towards the darkness and new connections – and towards a new season in 2027. We look forward to present the programme!
